How does it work?

You define your Ideal Business Profile. AI surfaces matches, and SMB.co contacts owners when there’s a fit.

What does it cost?

Searching is free. If you close a deal, SMB.co charges a simple 1% success fee. You can also upgrade to SMB Plus or Pro for access to Deal Autopilot (LINK) which will automatically send intro requests to businesses that match your ideal business profile. More on pricing can be found here /pricing.

What makes this different from listing sites?

What is the Business Match Score?

It’s a 0–100% rating that shows how closely a business aligns with your Ideal Business Profile (industry, location, revenue, team, growth needs, etc.).

How is the score calculated?

AI compares your preferences to each business’s data points, public and private, and weights them based on importance.

What does the description under the score explain?

It breaks down why the business got its score, highlighting both what matched and what didn’t, so you can instantly see fit without digging through vague listings.

Why do some businesses score low but still show up?

We surface options slightly outside your filters so you don’t miss creative fits. A low score doesn’t mean it’s a bad deal, it’s just less aligned with your criteria.

Can I improve my matches?

Yes. Edit your Ideal Business Profile to add specifics (like industry and revenue) and your matches will continuously improve. The more detail you give, the sharper the results.
